rules

Vulture Play

Players can exploit the other attacking team, steal the ball, and score at any moment.

Coin Toss

1 captain from each team will all flip a coin at same time. Odd coin wins and picks ball or goal.

Remaining 2 captains do traditional flip to pick second goal, or ball if still available, 3rd team gets whatever is left.

3 Periods Played

Each period is 15 minutes long with a 5-minute intermission.

Five Players

Three teams with 5 players on each.

Unlimited hockey style substitutions. Players must enter and leave the field from the substitution box.

No Throw-Ins, Only Corner & Goal Kicks

The ball is placed on the closest corner kick location and can be played in any direction.

Corner kick is awarded to the team defending the goal across from where ball goes out. (If the ball is out on that team, it’s a goal kick for team with goal the closest to where the ball went out).

5 Points Awarded per Game

3 points for winning team

2 points for 2nd place team

0 points for 3rd place team

If there is a 3-way tie, 1 point is awarded for all teams.

If 2 teams tie either 1 or 2 points each eg: if team A wins and team B and C tie for 2nd, team A gets 3 points and Teams B and C both get 1 point each.

If team A and B tie for 1st and team C is last, teams A and B both receive 2 points each while team C gets 1 point.

Penalty Kicks

A PK is awarded if fouled in the box, but the kick is taken against the fouling team’s goalkeeper.

No Off-sides

Cherry-picking is encouraged.

Quick Restarts

After a goal – the conceding team begins to play immediately.
